How to Beach Profile

I. Procedure
    A. Materials

•Pencil, clipboard, graph paper.
•Data Sheet
•Emory Rods

  B. Methods  
  1. Once at beach, get teams to make a line, either visual of from the dunes in a straight line.
  2. Make the teams make the measurements along the line
  3. Use the Emory Rods to measure the beach. Place one of the poles at the dunes, and the other two meters ahead of the ocean
  4. Use on of the rods to measure the distance of the other rod.
  5. Next, using the horizon as an object to line up the rods, line it up with the first pole, to measure the beach
  6. Lastly, record the data measured, on data sheet.
