Beach Profiling! 

Procedure:

 

Materials:

• Emery rods
• Writing utensil 
• Beach profiling sheet
• Metal 

Methods:

1. Go to a beach and find the wrack line.
2. Set a metal rod in the ground at the wrack line.
3. Begin your notes, remember to write everything including the weather, who is there, date, ect.
4. Set up your emery rods. ( you will need 3 or more people)
5. Have one person take one side of the rod and have another person on the other side. ( REMEMBER TO HAVE THE ROPE TAUGHT)
6. Look at the horizon and stare straight across and point to the number your eye settles on.
7. Write all of your notes down!!
