Here is how to create a Writer's Workshop:
Step One: First things first, you will need a piece of writing such as a poem, a story or a song, that you and a group of people will be editing and critiquing.
Step Two: Next, you will need people to be critiquing and helping give advice on the Writer's work.
Step Three: Now, get in a group, and have the writer read their story or poem, or whatever kind of writing it is. If you are someone who is going to give advice and critique the work, make sure to listen very carefully, and make sure to get every single detail that the writer has to say.
If you're the person reading, make sure to read it loud and clear, so the group can hear you.
Step Four: After the writer has read their work, allow the group to give advice, comments and suggestions, but make sure to not say anything mean about their work. Give the writer suggestions and advice, and tell them what you liked about the writing, but don't say what you didn't like. Instead, make it into a question, and say that you might have not understood it.
If you'e the person listening to what they have to say, make sure never to ask for advice, but to listen for advice. Listen to all questions being asked.
Step Five: Lastly, make final edits to your work (if you're the writer), and pick what you want to keep, and what you don't.
And that's how you make a Writers Workshop!
